Renaissance School, today celebrated Major Dhyan Chand’s birthday as National Sports Day in its premises. On this occasion, Dhyan Chand, an Indian eld hockey player be!er known as Hockey Wizard,his statue was wreathed with a garland and his contributions to the national game of India, Hockey and comprehensive achievements were remembered. Mr. Abhirag Sharma, the Chief Administrator remarked Dhyan Chand as one of the greatest players of Hockey that India has ever produced and witnessed. Mr. Pravesh Mehra, the Principal threw some lights on the life styles of the Hockey maestro, widely regarded as the greatest in the history of sport.All the dignitaries along with Sports Department paid their tributes to their ideal, Dhyan Chand known for his extraordinary goal scoring feats.
