The Diwali Celebration at school often means a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the campus. The festival of lights came alive at Renaissance School on 22nd October 2022, when the school children wore a festive look with colourful dresses. The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’. To make the students understand the importance of Diwali, school had a celebration in which the teachers explained that the festival spirituality signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair. The students won the hearts of the audience when they presented their dance drama and song to depict the various reasons of Diwali celebration especially the Ramayana play, enthralled the onlookers with graceful moves.
The function was concluded with a message by the Principal who offered his warm wishes to the children and reiterated that children should celebrate pollution free Diwali in its purest form by lighting the lamps with lots of joy and happiness.
