Today, we welcomed a reverent personality Ms. Shiona Jarchow in Renaissance School, Primary wing. She is an English Language Specialist who bagged Excellence in Training award in 2007. She has obtained the highest feedback rating from the Microsoft Help Desk support staff and is active on online teaching platforms such as Zoom and ClassIn for online classroom management along with mentoring learners for various English exams such as the GRE, SAT, IELTS, and TOEFL. Presently, she is associated with Online school based out of UK and China.
We feel privileged that she is going to be with us for the next three consecutive days i.e., 9th October to 11th October. For her gracious welcome, a special assembly was conducted in benign presence of our Senior Administrators Mr. Vishwas Sharma and Mr. Shivam Mohan Sharma along with our diligent Headmistress Ms. Bhawna Bhardwaj.
The assembly initiated with a prayer to seek the blessings of Almighty followed by pledge. The thought of the day was shared among the young learners right after to inculcate positive attitude. Our enthusiastic news reporters, Drashika, Manya and Riyansh, made the audience aware of news of national importance as well as incredible achievements of our school in various fields.
Thereafter, Felicitation of our vibrant guest was done with a welcome card and memento by Headmistress ma’am as a token of love and appreciation.
It is well said, “Let us nurture nature to have a nurturing future.”
This thought was expressed by the little buds of Nursery who taught a big lesson to save our precious environment through a marvelous and eye-opening presentation which melted everyone’s heart.
As our objective is to strive to be “CONFIDENT, RESPONSIBLE, REFLECTIVE, INNOVATIVE and ENGAGED “. Hence, the assembly was proceeded by Shanvi of Grade 2 who narrated a highly motivational story through puppets, imparting the moral of being responsible for our actions which is the foundation of becoming a better individual. It’s true that Music gives wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life. Undoubtedly, the soulful presentation of English song and a mesmerizing dance performance spread the magical aura all around. The day became brighter when Ms. Shiona expressed her warm gratitude through her words. The assembly was concluded with Indian National Anthem followed by American National Anthem.
Ms. Shiona also visited the premises and had a healthy and motivating interaction with the curious learners of Class 2 in AMP theatre, playground area, activity room and Library. The day ended with her vivacious interaction with teachers emphasizing on bringing positive changes in teaching strategies and attitude for the holistic development of students.
