The Renaissance Primary Wing was adorned in the hues of saffron, white, and green, interwoven with the festive charm of Janmashtami, as the school celebrated two grand occasions on the same day—Independence Day and Janmashtami—with unmatched zeal and devotion.
The celebration was graced by Chairperson, Mrs. Indra Sharma, Chief Administrator Mr. Abhirag Sharma, Principal Mr. Ashok Mathur, Senior Administrators Mr. Shivam Mohan Sharma and Mr. Vishwas Sharma, and Headmistress Ms. Bhawna Bhardwaj. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed with badges and a truly unique takeaway—an exquisitely hand-painted Krishna face on an artificial stone, complete with expressive eyes, a vibrant turban, and a peacock feather, symbolising both creativity and devotion.
The morning began with the proud flag hoisting ceremony by the honoured guests, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem, filling every heart with patriotic pride. This was followed by a soulful morning prayer and a heartfelt welcome address. The musical talent of the school shone brightly in the orchestra performance of Vande Bharata, stirring emotions across the gathering.
The stage then came alive with a moving Independence Day dance performance, depicting the courage of our armed forces through the stories of the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor. Shifting from patriotism to divine celebration, the Janmashtami dance performance unfolded the childhood leelas of Shri Krishna, including the dramatic Kaliya Deh scene and other enchanting episodes.
Adding depth to the festivities, a student eloquently spoke on the importance of Janmashtami and the timeless lessons it teaches. The excitement reached its peak during the Matki Fod, as cheers and claps echoed through the grounds.
In his motivational words, Principal Sir interacted warmly with the students, emphasising the significance of dharma (righteousness) and karma (right action) in shaping their lives. The event drew to a devotional close with the Shri Krishna Aarti, first performed by the guests and then joined by the teachers, leaving an aura of peace and positivity.
It was a day where the pride of our freedom intertwined with the joy of devotion, creating memories to be cherished.
