21st Youth State Championship Day -2 was filled with high zeal and enthusiasm as all the 16 teams of UP were on the verge of qualifying for the quarter finals. In the first match of the league, a high thrilling match between Bulandshahr and Lucknow ended with 37-57 points. In the next match, Agra defeated Ghaziabad with a narrow margin of 30-27 points. Aligarh completely washed Pratapgarh with 19-00 points. BLW team was not able to even score a single point against Moradabad and lost by 27 points. Again Balia was defeated by Varanasi by 06-37 points. Gorakhpur beat Meerut with 31-08 points.

Gautam Buddh Nagar beat Prayagrag with a big margin of 40-08 points. In the next match, Moradabad won against Meerut with a score of 31-18 points. Balia was lost to Ghaziabad in a one-sided match by 12-33 points. In the last match of the series, in spite of giving a close chase to Aligarh, the host team lost with a very narrow margin of 20-24 points.

At the end of the Day -2, Varanasi, Moradabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Aligarh, Gorakhpur, Agra, Lucknow and Prayagraj have qualified for the quarterfinals to be played on Day -3.
