Renaissance School hosted the 5th Inter-School Hindi Debate on the topic “Bhramit Hoti Jaa Rahi Hai – Abhivyakti Ki Swatantrata” in its premises on 18th Dec, 2019. Seventeen CBSE affiliated schools across Bulandshahr participated in one of the most debatable topics.
The eminent educators Dr. Archana Singh, Associate Professor (Hindi) from DAV P.G College, Bulandshahr; Dr. Vaishali Gupta, Associate Professor (Law), NREC College, Khurja & Dr. Ravi Yadav, Associate Professor, Govt. Degree College, Jahangirabad consented to be the judges on this occasion.
This was a spectacular event with oratory at its best that witnessed the participation of seventeen schools in all. It was indeed a riveting debate with a crisscross of opinions and apt rebuttal and the speakers spoke with enthusiasm and gusto. The interjectors posed thought to provoke questions.
Results:-
- In post-debate ceremony, Renaissance School, Bulandshahr bagged the “Sarvottam Team”, the runner up trophy went to B. K. Sr. Sec School whereas Vidya Gyan School bagged the 3rd Position.
- Vahita Gupta from Renaissance School, Bulandshahr was declared as the best speaker for the motion.
- Khushi Teotia from Renaissance School, Bulandshahr was adjudged as the best speaker against the motion.
- Vanshika Sharma from B. K. Sr. Sec School, Jahangirabad was selected as the best interjector.
In the end, the school Principal, Mr. Pravesh Mehra in his motivational speech congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of the Hindi Department while the Chief Administrator, Mr. Abhirag Sharma appreciated the efforts of the participants and lauded the teachers for grooming the students.
